Foo Fighters host "Rock the Vote" concert during DNC | Politics
A rock band has announced that it will host a "Rock the Vote" concert in Charlotte during the Democratic National Convention.
The announcement came on Monday afternoon that the Foo Fighters will play a rare intimate club show at The Fillmore Charlotte on September 5.
The show is expected to "celebrate the power of young voters during the Democratic National Convention and support Rock the Vote's ground-breaking efforts to register more than 1.5 million young people, educate and turn them out to vote this November."
The concert will be held at 9 p.m. to benefit Rock The Vote.
Tickets will go on sale on Tuesday August 21 at 10 a.m. at LiveNation.com, Ticketmaster or charge by phone 800-745-3000.
There is a 2 ticket limit per order. Tickets can only be picked up at will call night of show with valid id.
Will call at The Fillmore Charlotte box office will open at 7:30 pm on September 5th.
